Our prayers go out to the victims and their loved ones, visitors from other cities, first responders, and employees who were affected by last night’s horrific attack.
The Bartenders Union represents over 350 bartenders and apprentices at Mandalay Bay. Employees and visitors were in lock-down at various hotel and casinos up and down the Strip on Las Vegas Boulevard until early this morning.

Some of our staff spent the day donating water and snacks to the various centers around town. We have been working diligently and closely with the Employers to ensure that our members and employees feel safe.

MGM cancelled the performances of all shows tonight. Culinary and Bartender members and will still receive payment for the work hours lost. MGM intends to pay its employees impacted for their scheduled hours today.
